Medieval Furniture FAQ

Medieval Furniture

We do not currently add custom team heraldry to medieval furniture. However, we can change the furniture color according to your preference upon request. Contact MedievalExtreme before ordering to discuss the preferred color and available finishing options.

Armor can be placed in a medieval chest for transport or temporary storage, but a chest is not essential. Equipment should be cleaned and completely dried before being enclosed. An armor stand is usually more convenient at camp because it keeps the equipment accessible and allows moisture to evaporate.

Folding chairs and furniture that can be disassembled are the easiest options to transport. Most MedievalExtreme furniture can be folded or assembled directly at the event. When assembly is required, we provide the necessary screws and tools so you can prepare your camp furniture on site.

Medieval furniture is generally not required at buhurt tournaments, but it makes a camp more organized and atmospheric. Historically styled chairs, stands, and shelves help create a convincing setting. For reenactment events, period-appropriate furniture may be preferred or required, depending on the organizer’s authenticity standards.

Medieval Furniture for Buhurt Camps and Festivals

Medieval furniture helps transform a practical tournament camp into an organized, historically styled space. A wooden armor stand keeps your combat equipment upright, ventilated, and ready between rounds. A sword stand provides a stable display for one-handed swords, longswords, and other weapons. Complete your team setup with a personalized cotte d’arme and a dependable armor set.

Folding Chairs, Stands, and Wooden Storage

The MedievalExtreme collection includes folding chairs, a bog chair, a helmet stand, a sword display stand, an armor stand, and a medieval wooden bookcase. Folding furniture is especially useful for tournaments, festivals, reenactments, and LARP camps because it requires less transport space. A wooden chair provides comfortable seating, while a bookcase or shelf keeps personal items and camp equipment organized. Display stands also protect valuable armor and weapons from unnecessary contact with the ground.

Wooden Furniture Made to Travel

Choose furniture according to the equipment you carry and the available space in your camp, tent, workshop, or home. Folding chairs are convenient for frequent travel, while solid display stands provide dedicated support for helmets, weapons, and complete suits of armor. Each piece combines practical construction with a traditional medieval appearance.

MedievalExtreme workshop guidance: “Good camp furniture should organize your equipment, travel efficiently, and remain stable throughout a busy tournament.”
