Description

Italian Barbute “Y” shaped visor type 2 (barbuta) – one more shape of Italian war helmets for 15 st.

Hardened steel helmet 30 HGSA

Thickness:

  • 3 mm top part of the dome (2.5 mm after forging and polishing)
  • 2 mm bottom part of the dome

Each helmet includes:

  • Fabric or Riveted Chainmail
  • Padding
  • Padded aventail
  • Chin straps
  • Aventail steel neck plates

Inspired by Italian barbuta, of the Y-shaped form with nasal – 1470-80, Metropolitan Museum of Art.
