I ordered a right and a left hand mitten. both are well fitted and extremely well made. anyone who fights with a sheilds or buckler should have at least one of these. they are very well made and quite comfortable. payment and shipping were super easy as well as super fast. Arrived awhile ago, now had a chance to wear the gear and gambeson after injury recovery. Fits very snug and is surprisingly comfortable despite some weight change on my end, did not take long at all to wear in! Very happy with it, communications and measurements was easy and stress free.
Well made, great communications. Fits like a glove and weight feels great! Does not restrict my movements especially around the waist, which I appreciate as an fighter who likes their wild angles and hip rotations.

I don’t have a single negative thing to say about these shoulders. Aside from it being a bit on the expensive end. I was worried that I might have blown 450 bucks on another shoulder that wouldn’t fit me because it wasn’t custom made. Gamble paid off, no 5 month wait time.

I went through about three rounds of mink oil treatment and made sure to break them in during high-intensity interval training sessions and while practicing on the pell. After about two weeks, they broke in extremely well.
By the time I used them in my first fight, the difference was clear. My mobility was not compromised at all; if anything, it improved. The grip on the ground was excellent and gave me much more confidence in movement and stability during exchanges.
This was my first time ordering from them, but my team captain strongly recommended Medieval Extreme and mentioned it is the only place he goes for his boots, which says a lot.
One thing I also want to highlight is their communication. Even though they are clearly very busy, they do respond. In my experience, you can expect a response within about 24 hours. I reached out to Mykola several times for updates, and he was always responsive and professional. That matters, because there are armorers out there who will go silent for a week or two, which is frustrating and unprofessional; that was not the case here. She’s a beautiful sword that has a very balanced thrust and strike. The handle is very comfortable to hold in both standard and thumb grip, and the cross guard feels sturdy and reliable. She is a heavy one though! I was surprised that this was the lighter model too! A few dozen swings and I’m feeling the burn. Regardless, she strikes with devastating force while still allowing for quick cuts in thumb grip if you’ve got good wrist strength. I love her!

Best gauntlets I’ve ever tried on. Took them into Tier 1 at Carnage with my one hander and no shield. Didn’t feel a thing all day! Light and breathable, the thin layer of padding in them makes them the most comfortable thing in my kit.

Fantastic option. Super comfortable, laces up like combat boots, and accommodates both sabatons and greaves better than anything else I’ve worn for buhurt.
Personally added in shoe inserts for extra comfort and support, and works like a charm. Holds great with the leather strips it came with and has spots to tie at both wides and the top. Also holds with hockey tape holding it in place once leather wears down. 10/10 will recommend this pair of fighting boots to anybody.

This buckler is the real deal. I’ve trained with it a good bit now & the weight of it is awesome for conditioning your shoulders. I’m excited to get it into some fights! I also like how there’s a lip that curves up instead of it being completely flat like the usual bucklers. It also has plenty of room for you to use both a regular gauntlet & a shield gauntlet! If you need one, get this!
This axe is fantastic! I’ve put it through some good training & it feels great to swing around & get a flow with. Especially in training, the way that the weight is distributed is great for conditioning your forearms & wrists for actual fights. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful build and material quality. The only issue I’ve had is the face opening. I have a very large head/face so I had to lower the bottom portion so it wouldn’t end in the middle of my mouth.

I bought an in stock pair and am happy with them. Rivets are solid, articulation is good, mittens are held in well. The size is probably slightly larger than listed but when my hands get extremely sweaty they’re easy to get off. Photos are the day they arrived with bit of the oil they shipped in. Overall would and have recommended them.
Fits wonderfully and is padded enough that when a teammate hit me in an armour gap with a steel arming sword none of my bones broke and I only slightly bruised.

The extra plywood layer for mass battles is the way to go. Weighs 4lb 11oz with it, so very reasonable weight and more tanky.
Comes in at 69.9cm. It was a bit light, I believe around 1.1kg but I forgot to write down the weight. After I wrapped the haft in two rolls of JB Fiberweld it sits at 1230g. Nice looking, large flanges!

Awesome, good shield holding up well and great for profight and grappling while delivering punching power. The only thing was the buckle clasp came off very quickly and as there was a gap it was a problem. But I have the clasp reshaped it and hockey taped it so it’s fine. Maybe a better design for the buckle in future.

Everything fits the way it should and it even arrived 2 days earlier than announced. You guys did an amazing job and your bumper stickers are absolutely hilarious😂
The build quality is excellent, but the pants are very restrictive around the groin. Had to convert the pants into a pair of chausses to achieve the desired mobility, which was thankfully very easy to do with some basic sewing skills.
The fabric also appears to be a blend of linen and jute, which is what gives it the rough texture, not “extra dense linen” as the description states. I’ll be attaching an up-close picture of the fabric I took while converting the pants into chausses. Not a huge bummer in my book by any means, but I still felt it should be stated.
The arming points and laces come in a separate bag with a needle and a spool of thread. Which is really nice imho, as you can place them exactly where you need them to be instead of praying the manufacturer guessed your anatomy right.
All in all, pretty damn good for the price!

Fast free shipping to US. I got it in less than 10 days. Quality leather and highly adjustable. Suspenders held up really well with 15-20 lbs of kit in my lower extremities. For those who are more used to carrying weight on your shoulders this will definitely come in handy and put less strain directly on the low back/waist, especially for long events lasting 8+ hours.
Super lightweight but still strong. The scales move well, so it never get in the way when fighting. After switching from steel, the difference is huge. Totally worth it.

This is a wonderful sword! It was very well named indeed. Strikes from the Conqueror hit noticeably harder than any 1h weapon I’ve ever fought with or against. The exceptionally forward weighting of the blade gives the sword outstanding directional stability when it’s in motion. So it can be slower, but it arrives with confidence in attack & defence. I find griping the end of handguard & pommel, you get maximum momentum & blade control, as it’s still very easy to manoeuvre & it’s very solid in defence. If you do get the opportunity to use the a long range of motion possible with a single handed weapon strike, it lands *massive* hits!
You already know what the sword looks like, so instead I put my opponent’s helmet after our tournament fight in Sep. The 3 dents are my 3 Conqueror hits – downward, full beans strikes, with windup & forward step. Notice they are the only strikes which did more than a scratch.
In summary, I love this sword & every fight I have with it!
Honestly my favorite helmet to use to date. Absolutely bombproof to the point when i was testing how it would take blows my axe broke before i did damage to the helmet. couldn’t be happier with this helm.
PS better peripheral vision then any wolf rib i’ve ever fought in but just as breathable. (at the cost of low leg visibility so keep that in mind if that’s something you want)

Great entry-level shoulders. The 5-piece design gives good coverage without feeling bulky, and they move well when I’m clinching or blocking. Easy to strap on, solid build, and they do the job without overcomplicating things. Perfect for anyone starting out or needing a reliable spare set.
These shoulders are solid. They cover everything without locking up my arms, and the extra plate on the bicep saves me from those nasty shots to the elbow. They feel tough but not heavy, so I can fight longer without getting tired. Exactly what I was looking for.

Fast free shipping to US. I got it in less than 10 days. Quality leather and highly adjustable. Suspenders held up really well with 15-20 lbs of kit in my lower extremities. For those who are more used to carrying weight on your shoulders this will definitely come in handy and put less strain directly on the low back/waist, especially for long events lasting 8+ hours.

This is my first impression review, I haven’t battle tested it just yet. Out of the box the helmet fits me perfectly, the padding is very cushiony and soft, eyeslits are nice and level with mine, belts are in good length. I love that it has a good distance between my face and the visor also. Breathability and visibility is the same as with every closed helmet, I’m used to it so for me it’s perfectly fine but in the end of the day it’s a perforated visor, not a wolfrib. The only things I’d change are the holes on the belts and steel plates. The holes are very teeny tiny so I need to punch new ones in order to close the straps. Also with the current plate positions there is a potential gap between the neck and shoulder (this I need to double check in armour). I personally prefer to attach my plates to aventail so there are no gaps at all.
(My helmet has the custom plate on the front which I appreciate a lot)

So far the Shoe looks extremely small even trying it the shoe was extremely hard to put it in but once i manage to fit my feet into the shoe it was comfortable. Need to get use to it. Tho wish the sole was a bit bigger overall its a good standout shoe.

Fits a bit big, needed to add quite a few holes. Not the biggest of deals and its easy to do. The belt came bundled with my armor set at size XL. But overall it’s a good belt, and the metal capped end is a nice touch.
Just a sturdy leather arming belt. Easy to adjust and does what it needs to do.
Great set, everything fits well and it’s almost ready to go right out the box. Just attach some arming points and you’re good. Whole process took about 6 months and communication was on point. I will definitely be picking up some more pieces in the future.

Thanks again for finishing them so quickly. While I was a little bit disappointed that the soles are glued rather than stitched, I still think the craftsmanship is excellent. The molded fit feels pretty much tailored to my own feet, which really surprised me in a good way.

Ive had this helmet for a couple of weeks now and can say this is the most breathable visor that Ive tried on. The helmet is light but rests very securely on your shoulders. It can take axe strikes well, and there’s a ton of straps to secure yourself in for added protection. The pin is also probably the easiest pin to open a visor Ive ever used. Don’t take that as a sign that the visor will come open during a fight, the straps and the pin lock are pretty secure.
Overall a great helmet for dueling and profights. Breathing in this is insanely easily.
Bought these and used in several comps. Have shrugged off two-handed axes several times. Provides excellent protection to the collar bone, and I found left no real gaps between pauldrons and brig. Excellent quality, good manoeuvrability. Would reccomend if you’re looking to tank, or just want a buy once-cry once set of pauldrons. I might consider swapping them out in duels, but other than that, wouldn’t enter the list without them.

This axe has a very satisfying weight in each swing while still feeling light enough to swing a lot. The haft is a comfortable size to be grabbed quickly in grapples too. Very smooth though, so I had to wrap it to create so friction, but still a great choice for a fair price

Everyone said I was mad to buy such a heavy buckler, but I feaking love this thing!
I love this mace! Good deal and it got here in a only a couple of weeks. I gave it some shape and grip where the sweet spot to hold it is for me so it rolls less. It is by far my favorite weapon to use.
Works great. Good price. Good size. I painted mine for pizzaz. The leather straps to hold it are quite large, and fit my gauntlet well.

Great fit. Very snug. Arrived as pictured. Requires a bit of wear to stretch out the leather of the boot but fits extremely well once it is. The additional spots to tie the sabaton to the tops of the ankle are nice to haves that many other leather boots and sabatons don’t typically have. 10/10.
Absolutely fantastic armor set! Ordered padded gambeson+chausses and ultimate set and took measurements in plain clothes, and it fits like power armor. Shipped and arrived several weeks ahead of 24 week estimate. Even without tying to arming points, the pieces articulate and hold in place 90% as well as when tied.
The reinforced cuffs on the wrists of the gambeson to prevent gauntlet chafing, white sharpie name labels on the inside of armor pieces, as well as bonus sewing kit and arming points for the gambeson were very nice extra touches that I wouldn’t have thought to include.
Would strongly recommend the advanced or ultimate set for an extremely solid first kit, and rounding out/getting specific pieces down the road.

A very forward heavy weapon, absolutely great for chopping, weapon just feels like it wants to slam right into whatever direction your swinging. I highly recommended it, if there is a downside its that you definitely have to develop your wrist strength in order to use it to its full potential. The arming belt works really well. But I think users would have a more refined fit if the rivets on the straps were positions slightly further back, allowing for greater adjustments.
The gambeson is wonderful. I only wish I had the options to add leather straps instead of the ties, as the ties are difficult to tie/undo with haste or when exhausted from battle.

It is easy to u bucket when having to urinate and comfortable to wear compared to other cups, but red paint on inside rubs off easily. It’s a keeper for me.
I am very happy with my mace. My original purpose was to cut the handle down, making it easier to pull out as a side arm, but I like it so much as it is, I’m having trouble bringing myself to do it. I might just have to buy another one. Hehe.
It is not just the weapon that is great but the overall experience with medieval extreme. I’ve bought weapons shields, belts and gauntlets from them and everything is always great. There’s a personal touch that they always add that makes me smile. The notes of encouragement, once I bought an axe and I received a note saying “have fun chopping your opponents”. Haha.

Bought the XXL, as my waist measurement was 113cm. Turned out too big by a few cm, so I had to punch additional sizing holes.
The label was created a week before the package was received so the shipping company had told me the package went missing, and it made me sad.
So sick. I got the red battle boots/ high tops with the sabs. Very light. I wouldn’t want to take a direct hit with an axe but that’s probably true with any sabs. Find my YouTube short to see my mini advertisement for these bad boys!
Comfortable, foam padding surrounds the majority of your head, the chin and collar are a fabric stuffing. Had to make some modifications for my needs, (air holes were being covered) and it came with a needle and tread which was a nice touch.

It gives hard punches. Doesn’t twist in the hand.
The hook on the rear is very useful to perform grappling techniques together with the falchion.

An amazing set of arms, ready for anything.
The articulation in the elbow is excellent– much more mobility than I was expecting. The vambraces are also attached with sliding rivets, which allow you to rotate your forearm safely and quickly.
Growing to quickly adore the extra layer of metal that the pauldrons allow across my back. Never felt safer in steel than with these.
The ability to attach the pauldrons to my brigandine, and leave the arms attached to my gambeson means I can get in and out of almost all of my armour on my own. A remarkable comfort and peace-of-mind benefit.
They also just look amazing. the finish, and rolling on the edges is super clean.
Not all buhurt armour needs to be function without form, and this set really displays that.

Never had a piece of armour fit so perfectly straight away. Lightweight, and manouverable. Greatly appreciate the big plates covering my chest, and upper-back. Cinches nicely into the waist if done up tightly, which helps distribute the load even better.
The spare rivets and buckles were an extra delight– this is a piece of armour that will keep fighting for ages to come!

This sword is as light as a feather and stings like a bee! The weight of this sword is simply amazing and allows for extremely fast accurate strikes and a prolonged endurance for duels.
This mace came in clutch and was the perfect secondary in my melee when things got spicy. The polished head of this mace is beautiful and an eye catcher for sure. Its comfortable shaft allowed for a solid grip and paired with an even better weight, it definitely delivers a hell of a wallop.

I ordered this item a few months back hoping to have it time for our big tournament. To my surprise it came well ahead of schedule! I am pleased beyond measure with how comfortable it is wear. Hip shots no longer worry me. The color match is uncanny! I wanted it to match the corazzina I wear and spot it is almost perfect! If you don’t have hip protection this is by far the best way to go!

Before purchasing this mace, i asked a question on the support email. They answered almost instantly and i made my purchase, and, again, they istantly shipped it. The waiting time was relatively short (i am looking at you, customs) and i can tell that the mace is made with great care and is probably pretty good for administrating bonk. If you’re looking for a great, simple mace, look no further; you won’t find something better or as good for this price.

I’ve been looking forward to getting this type of helemt, visibility and breathing are comfortable when wearing the helmet and doing activities with the helemt on. I recommend trying out a helmet similar to this from somebody who has a helemt like this or possibly buying it off here on this website because I don’t see that many sellers selling this type of helemet, you will get your money’s worth with this helemt.

The craftsmanship is amazing and I couldn’t be happy with this brigandine. It fits perfectly and is incredibly comfortable to wear with minimal restrictions to movement. Going with the lighter weight titanium is going to be a game changer.

Recently purchased this package. I can say without a question of a doubt that the arms are absolutely amazing. Beyond comfortable given the right sizing.
I also want to point out that when I received the arms there appeared to be a slight issue with one of them. When I brought it to the medieval extreme team immediately I was taken care of. The arm was taken back, and immediately the issue was rectified and sent back. The support, care and attention to detail was absolutely amazing.

Note – The shoulders are 100 percent meant for buhurt and not dueling so just be aware of that. Nothing will hurt in the list. Dueling I’d suggest something much smaller.

Fits nice and snug thanks to the adjustable straps! Edges were also rounded slightly to help reduce discomfort!
Gauntlet mits were very well made thin in palms to allow weapon grip and nice padding on top for good shock absorption.

These feel really safe and solid. The articulation locks down and the thumbs ground nicely on the plate, protecting the joint from travelling too far. Room to fit thin under-gloves too.
You can fine tune the sizing with the adjustable leather cords and points on the back of the belt.

As expected this buckler will surely meet all my combat needs. The design allows for ample amount of protection and room for a gauntlet with a comfortable bar grip. The adjustable leather strap is thick and hardy for making a secure mount. The overall weight is perfect and hardy enough to take any blow taken, but also heavy enough to confidently deliver to them as well!

The provided description specifications were spot on for the Thorpe Falchion. This Falchion is perfect for all my combat needs from its comfortable grip, fantastic weight, and pairs perfectly with my buckler.
Looks and feels great! Allows for excellent wrist mobility for quick sword strikes and my hand feels completely protected. Doesn’t feel like I need to add any additional padding, it’s great as is. Im a bigger guy (6’3 260lbs) and the gauntlet came out to 1.85lbs, a pound lighter than my buhurt gauntlet. Swords lock in nicely so there’s little chances of being disarmed. Definitely excited to fight competitively with this gauntlet.

I couldn’t be happier with this falchion, it’s beautiful! The weight and balance are great in allowing it to be incredibly comfortable to use for its size.
The thickness of this set makes it absolutely perfect for the heavier hitting categories (profight, melee).
The belt loops are very helpful if you want to secure your pants a little more. A nice extra is that you’ll get 4 arming points, two patches in case something should rip and heavy duty threat and needle to sow everything where you want to have it.
One of the lightest and best balanced longswords I’ve ever used. The pommel is very easy to grip with gauntlets and the handle length is perfect for easily controlling the long blade. Though its light this sword can deliver powerful blows aswell.
Bit oversized but that’s what you get when you have a one size fits all. Stitching is loose in spots just like the other gauntlets I’ve ordered.
Really nice gloves but the stitching was falling apart right out of the box. It’s annoying to re-stitch brand new gloves.
Other than that, they seem tough and fit relatively well.

Best helmet I’ve ever used! came very well padded with a good chin strap and visor strap. The helmet button was too tight at first but after using it for a few months its easier to push down now and still keeps my visor in place.

Great training sword. It’s heavier than other swords my brothers in arms use, but that’s why I got it. Train heavier and then actual fight with lighter. Shipping times were expected for international. Sword is holding up fine, normal wear from smashing metal together.
This falchion is hard hitting, comfortable to weild, and durable as can be! The leather handle makes a huge difference when battling allowing a firm hold in battle. I have never regretting buying this falchion and neither will you!

I like how it’s a big pack so I won’t have to worry about it for a while. They were a little large for the holes in my helmet but it just took a couple minutes with a file and it worked great. It’s held up through two events after the repair so far with no issues.
The weapon is balanced and flows into strikes without much effort. The weight allows for easy follow-up and returns. The design optimizes natural movement to help create very powerful strikes. Do recommend!

A good, heavy sword for buhurt. The weight allows it to hit like a truck, and the handle allows for a sabre-style whip with the wrist which I vastly prefer over a standard straight handle. Strongly recommend.
Love the helmet I bought one whole kit than the new helmet first one was also 5 stars it had tiny surface rust but that comes right off the new helmet came shiny and mattblack looks awesome great fit to I won’t ever rate this company less than 5
using them for years now absolutely bombproof design, more flexibel then you would expect for shoulders this size, might be a bit heavy for pro fights for some people.
Using them for a while now no major issues actually bombproof, i am using them for buhurt and pro fights, for pro fights they might be a bit heavy for some people however can recommend.
It feels amazing to swing! In duels, speed is king, and the light weight and good balance have been awesome! Definitely get this one if you do sword and shield duels!

Ordered one of these to line a helm. Arrived on the other side of the world safe and well packaged and has worked a treat for me so far. It took a bit of time to break in, but it fits like a glove now. Really appreciated all the little inclusions like thread to attach it too.
I ordered these maybe 3 years ago. They fit perfectly in my feet and they are very light. But the small protection piece above the foot it rips easily from the leather as the leather is a bit weak. I suggest using a stronger leather for the part. But excellent work!

The cuatomer care from orderimg to receiving was very good and the quality is very good, make sure you measure well, if you do the fit is perfect, looks amazing also, in two weeks i had it home since they shipped, highly recommended.
Belt was made with durable materials, it’s not to thick, so the heat won’t effect ya, and the buckles are made the quality leather.
It’s tall nature makes it good to hold majority of the weight higher.

I loved it. I already had a pair done by other manufacturers. But this one, as it follows perfectly the shape of your back and neck, is very comfortable, I can attach it creating a small “safety air gap”, and it doesn’t get stuck to my brigandine.
By far is one of the best two handed swords I have tested so far. No regrets at all in my purchase! Thank you guys!

I ordered a custom sallet from medieval extreme and am beyond happy with the product I received. the whole process with medieval extreme was fantastic from emailing them to ask for a custom job, them asking how I’d like the helmet to fit and making sure to keep me informed throughout the whole process.
I really can’t recommend them enough based on how well this helmet fits and with a local nickname of Minecraft Steve you can imagine how hard it is to find a helmet that fits this well
