Description
Flamberge Longsword with Scabbard
Flamberge Longsword with Scabbard is a distinctive armored combat sword inspired by the German Flammenschwert, or “flame sword.” It comes with a brown leather handle, brass furniture, and a bright red leather-covered scabbard with a matching red belt.
TL;DR
- Flamberge longsword with red leather scabbard and matching belt
- Inspired by the German Flammenschwert
- BI and IMCF rule-compliant
- Hardened spring steel blade
- Blade thickness: 5 mm (0.2 in)
- Full length: 125 cm (49.2 in)
- Blade length: 91 cm (35.8 in)
- Handle length: 34 cm (13.4 in)
- Weight: 2.12–2.24 kg (4.67–4.94 lb)
- Balance point: 1 cm (0.4 in) from the cross-guard
The handle uses reliable brown leather for a secure grip in gauntlets. Also, the 34 cm (13.4 in) handle gives you enough leverage for strikes, winding, grappling, and weapon control.
The sword has a balance point only 1 cm (0.4 in) from the cross-guard. Therefore, it stays responsive despite its 125 cm (49.2 in) full length. This matters when you need to strike, recover, and redirect the blade quickly under pressure.
We make the blade from hardened spring steel with 5 mm (0.2 in) thickness. This gives the sword the durability needed for repeated tournament use, hard training, and regular armored combat contact.
The scabbard has a strong wooden core covered with natural bright red leather. The brass furniture highlights the red leather and matches the sword fittings. Plus, the included multi-size red belt keeps the full set visually consistent and easier to wear at events.
This flamberge works best for fighters who want a rule-compliant longsword with strong handling, clear style, and practical control in binds. It stands out, but it still stays built for real armored combat use.

Awesome quality
Awesome quality
Why these are better than the other gauntlets:
– no straps between your palm and the weapon, giving superior grip. This means less effort to hold onto weapons over many fights and harder to be disarmed.
– leather on cuffs extends past the metal. Makes them easier to repair and increases comfort with short vambraces.
Also well made, with deep pockets for ends of fingers and thumb
Cant wait to put them to use look and fit perfectly
