Description
Flamberge Longsword – Flame-Bladed Sword
A distinctive weapon built for armored combat. This Flamberge longsword, inspired by the German Flammenschwert (“flame sword”), is fully compliant with Buhurt International and IMCF technical requirements. Its wavy flame-shaped blade not only looks unique but also delivers strong control during fights.
Specifications of the Flamberge Longsword:
- Full length: 125 cm (49.2 in)
- Blade length: 91 cm (35.8 in)
- Handle length: 34 cm (13.4 in)
- Cross-guard length: 18 cm (7.1 in)
- Balance point: 1 cm (0.4 in) from the cross-guard
- Weight: 2.12–2.24 kg (4.67–4.94 lbs)
- Blade thickness: 5 mm (0.2 in), hardened spring steel
The flamberge blade design provides extra friction in blade-on-blade contact, making it harder for an opponent to slide off during binds. With a long handle and balanced weight, this sword offers excellent leverage for grappling, winding, and displacing enemy weapons in close combat.
Made from hardened spring steel, it’s tough enough to withstand repeated tournament use. The balance point close to the guard ensures responsive handling despite the blade’s length, so you can strike and recover quickly without losing control.
- Rule-compliant with BI and IMCF standards
- Distinctive flame blade improves bind control
- Strong spring steel construction for durability
- Balanced handling for both strikes and grappling
- Authentic historical inspiration – the German Flammenschwert
Durable, unique, and fight-ready. Add this flamberge to your kit and stand out on the field.

I bought the full advanced Rise floating kit. Very comfy, easy to move in, and still really strong. The floating design makes it feel light and flexible, great maneuverability while keeping you well protected. Great quality build and perfect fit worth every cent.
Fits perfect. Also if you got questions they answer very fast and really help. Thank you again.
This is a wonderful sword! It was very well named indeed. Strikes from the Conqueror hit noticeably harder than any 1h weapon I’ve ever fought with or against. The exceptionally forward weighting of the blade gives the sword outstanding directional stability when it’s in motion. So it can be slower, but it arrives with confidence in attack & defence. I find griping the end of handguard & pommel, you get maximum momentum & blade control, as it’s still very easy to manoeuvre & it’s very solid in defence. If you do get the opportunity to use the a long range of motion possible with a single handed weapon strike, it lands *massive* hits!
You already know what the sword looks like, so instead I put my opponent’s helmet after our tournament fight in Sep. The 3 dents are my 3 Conqueror hits – downward, full beans strikes, with windup & forward step. Notice they are the only strikes which did more than a scratch.
In summary, I love this sword & every fight I have with it!
Honestly my favorite helmet to use to date. Absolutely bombproof to the point when i was testing how it would take blows my axe broke before i did damage to the helmet. couldn’t be happier with this helm.
PS better peripheral vision then any wolf rib i’ve ever fought in but just as breathable. (at the cost of low leg visibility so keep that in mind if that’s something you want)
Mine just came in!! Super happy with the fit
