Description
The Italian barbute T shaped visor (also termed a barbuta), is a visorless battle helmet of 15th-century Italian design with a “T” shaped dome for the eyes and mouth.
The each helmet includes:
- Riveted Chainmail
- Padding
- Padded aventail
- Chin stropes
- Aventail hardened steel neck plates
Thickness
- 3 mm top part of the dome
- 2 mm bottom part of dome
- Hardened spring steel 30HGSA
- Weight 6795 g approx
The face and bottom of the helmet reinforced with 4mm hardened steel parts.
