Description

The Italian barbute T shaped visor (also termed a barbuta), is a visorless battle helmet of 15th-century Italian design with a “T” shaped dome  for the eyes and mouth.

The each helmet includes:

  • Riveted Chainmail
  • Padding
  • Padded aventail
  • Chin stropes
  • Aventail hardened steel neck plates

Thickness

  • 3 mm top part of the dome
  • 2 mm bottom part of dome
  • Hardened spring steel 30HGSA
  • Weight 6795 g approx

The face and bottom of the helmet reinforced with 4mm hardened steel parts.
