I just received my shipment in yesterday and am beyond impressed! The attention to detail for this set far exceeded my expectations. I was originally worried about how the articulation would be, especially at the elbows, and how it would fit my arms overall, as it was my first set for buhurt. However, after a quick try on after opening up the armor and attaching the arms to my gambeson, it was an exact fit, especially the pauldrons. Lastly, the care taken for shipment overseas, and the timely deliver could not have been better as it came just in time for several events in the upcoming month. I cannot recommend this item enough!

This was my first piece of armor, and one I was most worried would be uncomfortable or fit poorly. Not only did these boots and sabatons fit great, but they fit better than any shoe I’ve ever had. The metal is lightweight, and feels both sturdy and flexible.
I have never once questioned the quality of work from the people at Medieval Extreme. The mittens I received fit perfectly and look great. The extra steel around the knuckles is a very nice touch that provides excellent protection for punching and against hand strikes. The spacing of the plates on the fingers is also very well considered, leaving just enough room to clean and do maintenance on any rust that may form between the plates. Would 100% recommend.
Excellent basic shoulder protection for dueling.

It’s good. Feels a bit flimsy even though I know they hold up. This really comes down to personal preference. Love that it came in the full kit and made suiting up from box to fight very simple.
I REALLY wish this had have come with proper instructions for adjusting the size, and any recommendations for packing/storing gear. It’s a pain in the ass, and obviously very heavy. The bag really needs to be adjusted so it fits properly. I may have a better recommendation once I learn to adjust it and pack better….but perhaps 2 rolling suitcases would have been a better investment. Quality is fantastic though! LOVE the bag as a hiking bag for sure.
