Description
One-Handed Sword with Scabbard
One-handed sword with scabbard is a practical set for historical costume, reenactment, training display, and medieval events. The sword comes with a dark brown wooden scabbard covered in leather and a belt for easy carrying.
TL;DR
- One-handed sword with dark brown scabbard
- Wooden scabbard covered with leather
- Attached belt with 2 buckles
- Belt fits over costume, not armor
- Suitable for users up to 110 kg (243 lb)
- Full sword length: 90 cm (35.4 in)
- Blade length: 71.5 cm (28.1 in)
- Weight: 1.495 kg (3.30 lb)
- Balance point: 4.5 cm (1.8 in)
The scabbard uses a wooden core with a leather cover. This gives the sword a clean medieval look and keeps the blade easier to carry between activities.
The belt has 2 buckles. First, you hang the scabbard from your belt. Then, you secure it closer to the body for a better fit. As a result, the scabbard moves less when you walk, turn, or kneel.
The belt works best above a costume or civilian medieval clothing. However, it is not long enough to wear over armor. Also, wearing a scabbard over armor is usually uncomfortable and not practical in real use.
The sword has a 90 cm (35.4 in) full length and a 71.5 cm (28.1 in) blade. It weighs 1.495 kg (3.30 lb), with a balance point at 4.5 cm (1.8 in). So, it feels compact and controlled in one hand.
Overall, this set gives you a clean sword-and-scabbard setup without extra fuss. It is easy to wear, easy to adjust, and practical for medieval events where your gear needs to look right and stay in place.

It’s good. Feels a bit flimsy even though I know they hold up. This really comes down to personal preference. Love that it came in the full kit and made suiting up from box to fight very simple.
I REALLY wish this had have come with proper instructions for adjusting the size, and any recommendations for packing/storing gear. It’s a pain in the ass, and obviously very heavy. The bag really needs to be adjusted so it fits properly. I may have a better recommendation once I learn to adjust it and pack better….but perhaps 2 rolling suitcases would have been a better investment. Quality is fantastic though! LOVE the bag as a hiking bag for sure.
Eh, wish the leather didn’t get ruined so quickly with use, but it’s to be expected. Gauntlets are pretty tough on the handles.
Guys, I have my own kit now! It’s so great to just be able to put everything on. Fits like a glove. I was worried that i’d lost some weight and things wouldn’t fit, but everything is perfect. Only issue- I KNOW they don’t have arming points on the gambeson, just wish they did. Otherwise, everything was packaged perfectly, fits perfectly, and looks awesome.
