German Bascinet Clapvisor of Nuremberg type 2.
Similar helmets are stored in the “Museum of German History” in Berlin and German National Museum in Nuremberg.
This helmet would fit armor kits for Western Europe, Germany 1350-1370.
The visor is openable fixed with lace and a buckle. The main difference between the visor of this helmet is the number of holes for breathing – we made more of them to optimize the helmet for armored combat battles.

The German Bascinet Clapvisor of Nuremberg is a reliable helmet designed for armored combat battles.
Very good once you brake them in .
Didn’t expect it to be as big as it was. But others wise good craftsmanship.
Good quality leather, big enough belt to fit around me and my armor, weapon loop probably only works for blades as my axe haft didn’t fit but got to me in about a week and made it right on time for my tournament. 10/10 recommend
Good Cordy fits very well very happy
