Titanium Aventail Protection Plates for Armored Combat
Titanium Aventail Protection Plates add rigid protection to the neck and shoulder area without requiring a complete aventail replacement. The set includes three lightweight titanium plates designed to be stitched directly to your padded helmet aventail.
This is a simple but practical upgrade for armored combat. The plates add another layer between incoming strikes and areas that otherwise rely mainly on chainmail and padding.

The set consists of one larger rear plate and two smaller side plates. Together, they increase coverage around the neck and upper shoulders while keeping the construction relatively light.
We use Titanium OT4 with a thickness of 1 mm (0.04 in). Titanium keeps the weight down and does not rust, which is especially useful around helmet padding that regularly gets wet from sweat during training and tournaments.
Each plate comes with a 4 mm (0.16 in) leather section. This gives you a practical mounting area for stitching the plates to your padded aventail or other compatible helmet padding.
At only 270 g (0.60 lb) for the complete set, the plates add rigid coverage without putting much additional weight on your helmet setup.

Exactly what I ordered. The padded set fits gloriously. Floating is a bit of an adjustment, and even though I lost quite a bit of weight between ordering and receiving, the whole set still fits wonderfully! Zero complaints and would absolutely order again.
