This kit combines Basic Plate Arms with 5-segmented pauldrons. Together, they protect the forearms, elbows, upper arms, shoulders, and upper side gaps. As a result, you get better coverage when hits come from the side, from above, or from behind.
We use hardened spring steel 65G for both parts of the kit. The arms use 1 mm (0.04 in) steel with reinforced 1.2 mm (0.05 in) elbows. Also, the pauldrons use 1 mm (0.04 in) steel with a stronger 1.2 mm (0.05 in) main segment.
The extended elbow design helps close the gap between the vambrace and biceps. This matters in real buhurt because side hits often land exactly there during grappling and chaotic mass battles.
The 5-segmented pauldrons move with your shoulders instead of locking them down. So, you can raise your arms, work with a shield, clinch, and recover after a fall with less restriction.

Very expensive. Love the look and the scabbard is very nice but for the price the finish of the blade is a bit rough. Machine marks and pitting in the metal is present along the entire blade and on the guard.
