Description
Apex Basic Plate Arms for Buhurt
Apex Basic Plate Arms give you reliable arm protection for buhurt, mass battles, and armored combat training. The design follows late 14th-century armor style, around 1380–1400, but we build it for modern fighting.
TL;DR
- Basic plate arms for buhurt and armored combat
- Historical style: 1380–1400
- Hardened spring steel 65G
- Main thickness: 1 mm (0.04 in)
- Elbow thickness: 1.2 mm (0.05 in)
- Weight: 3210 g (3.21 kg / 7.08 lb) for XL size
- Extended elbows help cover weak gaps
- Good mobility for grappling, blocking, and weapon control
We use hardened spring steel 65G for strong, simple, and practical protection. Also, we reinforce the elbows to 1.2 mm (0.05 in), because this area takes heavy hits in close combat.
The vambrace covers the forearm without blocking your grip. So, you can hold your weapon, push in the clinch, and get back up after a fall without fighting against your armor.
The rounded elbows help strikes slide away from the joint. As a result, your arm takes less direct impact during shield pressure, wall work, and messy exchanges.
We extend the elbow section to close the gap between the vambrace and steel biceps. This matters because side hits often land exactly there. Plus, three rivets hold the side elbow protection firmly in place.
The steel biceps plates protect the upper arm from hard shots. However, the lower cutout keeps your arm easy to bend. Therefore, you keep better mobility for wrestling, blocking, and close-range control.
Overall, Apex Basic Plate Arms offer solid coverage with practical mobility. They work well for a first serious armor kit or a durable mass battle setup.

Its very comfy, like a lil brig for my hips!
It looks awesome, and is easy to wear!
Fits really well with the boots, works great if you order the combo.
I love how comfortable they are, and the black leather looks awesome!
Very handsome, I like the fact that the heel has no metal on it.
Extremely light, super fun to use!
Well balanced, and durable. I heard longswords are hard to make well, but mine is super good and easy to use!
Really well balanced towards the hilt. Flicks great, and is super light.
Great quality to price ratio.
Good bundle if you actually fight. Both feel solid enough for armored combat. I like having both options in the same kit because you never know what weapon will feel better for a specific case.
