The knee cops are always made of hardened steel, even in the titanium version, and are securely riveted to the cuisse via a wide leather strap for flexibility. The upper part of the cuisse comes with a strong leather arming point with pre-punched holes for easy lacing to your lendenier. Covered with wool and linen canvas, they are both durable and historically inspired.
