  I recently bought an ax from Medieval Extreme. Although I haven't gotten to use it yet, it appears very well constructed. The wooden handle is solid wood, tough, and feels very durable. I like the wrap they used around it near the head of the ax, and it really seals it well. The metal ax head also is well constructed, polished, hard steel, and looks like it will take quite an abuse. I am overall very pleased with this purchase, and would highly recommend them. I will submit another review once I've gotten to actually use this in competitions, after it's taken a beating, and gotten some real use.
